Beachside Resort is located on Main Street of Wahkon and is within walking distance to multiple restaurants/bars, and bait and gas stations. Beachside Resort is located between two State Parks, Father Hennepin State Park – Offers biking, hiking, and ski trails and more, Kathio State Park – Biking, Hiking, Ski Trails, sledding hills, and more! Top Rated MN ATV and Snowmobile Trails are just down the street, the Soo Line Trail. The Beachside Resort maintains Mille Lacs ice roads in Wahkon Bay.

Beachside Resort is on Lake Mille Lacs. Mille Lacs Lake is where anglers can catch the record Muskie, record Small Mouth Bass, and record Northern! Also known as the Walleye Capital of the World, Mille Lacs is still producing great numbers in Walleyes! Beachside Resort is also situated between multiple golf courses, Fiddle Stix and Izatys. Northwood Hills and Grand Casino Mille Lacs is only 15 miles away.

Beachside Update 02/11/2021

Beachside Resort’s Mille Lacs ice roads are in great shape still have no bridges or major cracks for their guests to cross. They have roads all the way out to 5 Mile Reef! February’s bite continues to be better than January, which is not usual. They are seeing lots of slot fish and a good number of 24″ to 25″ walleyes. They also report tullibee and jumbo perch being caught in deeper water north of the 2nd Reef and south of the Gravel Bar. Tullibee have also been caught on the north side of Beachside Banana Reef.

Propane Tip:  Beachside Resort does fill propane tanks at their bait shop.
