Ice Fishing Mille Lacs releases its first Mille Lacs Lake ice thickness map of 2021

The Lake Mille Lacs ice thickness map provides an overview of estimated ice thicknesses from around the lake.

It’s worth noting that lake ice is never safe. This year is no exception with the amount of movement the ice cap on Mille Lacs has seen due to high winds and mild temperatures. We provide this map for entertainment purposes only and should not be an angler’s only point of ice thickness information when venturing out onto Mille Lacs Lake ice fishing. Please check with the local DNR and your Mille Lacs Lake resort before going out on Mille Lacs Lake’s ice.
