Brandt’s Ice Fishing has been renting and storing ice fishing houses since 1961. Currently, Brandt’s is overseen by its third generation of family ownership. Brandt’s Ice Fishing is situated on the southern shore of the Walleye Capital of the World, Mille Lacs Lake. The Brandt family comprehends Mille Lacs ice fishing, ice road safety, and where to find walleyes on the southern half of Mille Lacs Lake.

Plum is the Rebranding of Brandt’s Ice Fishing

Long time owner Jerry Brandt sadly passed away in November 2019. The family has kept the family business going and has been busy rebranding the business over to plum crazy purple. A better name for the color is Perfectly plum, 

The Brandt family is not changing the world but adding their brand to it! The new ownership team is looking forward to providing ice fishing and fish house rental services to their clients and customers this winter and every winter yet to come!

Brandt’s Ice Fishing provides seasonal fish house service and year-round storage. They also provide well-plowed Mille Lacs ice roads to Four and Five Mile Gravel Reefs, Sloppy Joe’s, and Quarter Reef.

Brandt’s Ice Fishing has a whole fleet of Mille Lacs rental fish houses ready for fishing. Their rental fish houses are all nicely carpeted, capable of overnight stays, and have four to twelve ice holes. They are high quality, have restrooms attached, and can accommodate corporate events to the family get to together. Their location is excellent for snowmobiling, with easy and quick access to the Soo Line trail, close to restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores.
